DeepSummary
In this episode, Lewis Black discusses his recent golf lessons and the challenges of improving his game, comparing it to the myth of Sisyphus - making progress only to roll back down again. He raves about his favorite restaurants and experiences during a recent visit to Portland, Maine. Black also rants about the absurdity of news stories like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. wanting to eat roadkill bear meat, Donald Trump's offensive comments about a broadcaster's race, and the Ohio Supreme Court ruling that 'boneless' chicken wings can contain bones.
Black reads listener rants submitted on various topics, including frustrations with corporate culture, concerns about the erosion of LGBTQ+ rights, and conspiracy theories surrounding recent tragedies being used for political gain. He expresses dismay at the current state of political discourse and encourages people to vote for anyone who simply says 'shut the fuck up.'
Throughout the episode, Black promotes his upcoming comedy shows and tour dates. He also thanks listeners for their support in assisting a veteran named Greg, though he aims to protect Greg's privacy.

We even have a day for it. Why that title? Because it’s a great metaphor for Lewis’ golf game. On in which he recently spent time in Maine working on. While there, Lewis took the time to keep ownership of his summer. For anyone who has followed the Rantcast for a while knows that summer is our time and should be politics free. Unfortunately that doesn’t seem to be possible these days. Why? Because VP running mates are being chosen and political nepotism has led us to dead bears being dumped in Central Park. If you don’t understand that last detail, you’re probably actually having a great summer.
